
Here it is ladies and gentlemen. The final and most critical phase of next season’s arms race has descended upon us. Today, New York’s Radio City Music hall will host the 2009 NFL Draft.
As most of you have undoubtedly heard, Matt Stafford has been anointed this year’s number one pick overall, signifying a new beginning for the Detroit Lions franchise, and putting the St. Louis Rams on the clock. The Rams will likely take Baylor offensive tackle Jason Smith, assuming that the infamous “plane ticket” purchased for Mark Sanchez is indeed a smoke-screen.
